Directions:
- To cut Friendly Plastic®, lay it shiny side down. On reverse (dull) side measure with ruler and mark sizes needed with permanent marker. Mark twice at opposite ends and join marks. Cut on line with sharp scissors. See Diagram.

- Cut two strips 3/16” wide by 7” long from each color.
- Heat electric griddle to 300 degrees F.
- Place Non stick baking sheet on griddle, then place one White strip on baking sheet, shiny side up. Slowly place Blue piece on one side of White strip and the Red piece on the other side of White strip. Make sure edges touch. As soon as the edges are fused together, remove the baking sheet from griddle with spatula. Place immediately in a pan of cold water.
- Repeat Step #4 with the remaining strips.
- Place one fused strip on baking sheet on griddle, shiny side down. Take the other fused strip and place it shiny side up on top of the other strip. Make sure the blue is on top of the blue; red on red; white on white. Heat just enough so that they stick together. Remove baking sheet from griddle with spatula and immediately lay it flat in a pan of cold water.
- Run hot tap water and hold area you wish to bend under the hot water. Bend gently. It may take several heatings and bendings to get it shaped the way you want it. The plastic should become hot enough for the crossed area to stick together.
- Cut ends at an angle as shown in finished piece.
- Glue pin back to back of “ribbon”. Let glue dry completely before wearing. Do not wear in intense heat (such as at the beach) where piece might melt.
