Directions:
- Cut copper embossing metal to shape x 2 using shapelets template. We
used the triangular shape.
- Make three holes in metal, tapering up from bottom corner of metal.
Holes should be 1/4" apart (approx 1/8" from edge). Refer
to picture for each earring right/left.
- To create different colors in the metal, heat with heating tool on a
cookie sheet. Keep in one spot for approx 5 minutes.
CAUTION: THIS GETS VERY HOT!
To texture metal shape, use hammer/mallet. Pound metal at different
angles. Use roller to flatten metal back to shape, leaving texture.
String asst glass beads on stretchy cord. Give enough room for tying
off cording. Triple knot each end and cut off excess cord to secure
beads. Beads should hand 2-1/2" from hole at bottom corner. Next
hole up, beads should hang 2-1/4" down, and 2" from top hole.
Cut a 4" piece of stretchy cord. Select 4 small beads. String
beads to middle of cord. Put a 1/4" drop of multi-purpose
cement to center of metal shape. Lay beads in glue. Bend cording in
different directions, gluing down at each curve and ends.
Glue earring back to center of top corner of metal shape back.
