Materials:
- Polymer Clay Designer Squares, design of choice (2-3 depending on size of votive)
- Single edge blade knife or razor blade
- Clear votive, size of choice
- Brayer or rolling pin
- Candle
Directions:
- Slice the clay squares as thinly as possible with a thin blade knife, then place slice on votive and roll out with a brayer or rolling pin until "paper thin." (Tip: If slice sticks to brayer or rolling pin, apply talcum powder to brayer with a soft brush).
- Place second slice near first and roll out so edges meet and smooth together. Continue placing slices in desired pattern and rolling out one at a time.
- Bake in a 265º F over for 30 minutes.
- Place a candle inside and watch your design light up! (After baking you can sand LIGHTLY with fine sandpaper for a smoother look).
