The Search engine is a blank white box following the
words Search by keyword or item #. You should be able to see this in the blue
banner on top of each web page.
Searching by Keyword
Our search engine is built in our database
and will search according to three methods: "any words" (default method),
"all words" or a "phrase".
Depending on the method you choose, you will obtain different
results. For example, a search on the word 'bee' as a phrase will return instances
of the word 'bee', including the plural 'bees': 52 hits. However, a search on the
'bees' will return only 19 results. A search on the word 'bee' as all words, will
return any combination of words that includes the word bee, beeswax, bees ... etc.
Searching by Stock Number
If you have our catalog (or know a
manufacturer's item number) enter the number, EXACTLY as it appears in our catalog,
into the search engine which resides in the blue banner on top of each web page.
Click on GO!
If the item does not appear on your list of search results, you can
try to enter a portion of the item number. For example: 57-1148 is the printed
catalog number for a One Stroke teaching guide. To find this item in the search
engine, simply omit the 57 and type 1148 into the search engine. You may also try
omitting the last two or three characters of a three-segment printed number. Example:
The Canning Jar Lamp Kit listed in our catalog as 201-100-09, can be found by typing
201-100.
